The purpose of the review process is to give an expert opinion regarding the quality of the manuscript being considered. The review process in RCR should provide the authors, associate editors and editor with information on how to improve the article and make it publishable in a first line journal.
Reviewers' task is to HELP the author and the journal staff to improve the manuscript.
Double-Blind-Peer-Review Process + Editor Review
Each article is reviewed by two respected specialists on the topic who are part of the editorial board or who are contacted ad hoc, and by the editor or by an associate editor.
Ad-hoc reviewers and reviewers in the editorial board must have an excellent publication record.
If you are interested in participating as a ad-hoc reviewer, please, write to the editor: email@example.com
The address of the Editorial Management System is: www.review-of-communication-research.org
Drafts are also made available to the scholar commmunity in the open-access-reviewing process.
What is it about?
You can review the articles RCR is going to publish. You will be credited in the paper if the author improves his/her paper with any of your suggestions.
How does it work?
Drafts are uploaded in RCR website.
You can download them, but first you must register.
Registration is simple and you have to answer only few questions. It is required that you register with your institutional email address (i.e., gmail, hotmail or similar domains are not accepted for registration.)
Registration allows us to control who downloads the manuscripts, as a measure to protect our author’s work.
Once you have read the manuscript, you can review it. You do not need to log in in order to publish your analysis.
Alternatively, you can send an email directly to the editor: firstname.lastname@example.org
The author/s and editor will read your comments and send a reply. You will be invited to sign the published article.
