Review of Communication Research publishes an annual volume with comprehensive and authoritative reviews of the current state of the main topics and the most significant developments in the field of Communication. These comprehensive critical reviews summarize the latest advances in the field, but also root out errors and will provoke intellectual discussions among scholars.
The journal seeks both evaluative (theorical) and quantitative (meta-analyses) papers that make a state of the art of issues in scientific communication. Integrative review articles that connect different areas of research are of special interest.

We publish literature reviews in any subfield of Communication.
Review of Communication Research aims to present the best reviews in the discipline, written by the most talented scholars. Authors are experienced scholars. if you are not an experienced scholar, please, find a colleague who can work on the manuscript with you. He or she should be the corrisponding author.
Rigorous Peer-Review Processes
To assure the quality of the reviews, we run a doubleblind peer review with two experts in the topic. Also, the editor, or the section editor, reads and comments the manuscript. In addition, we run an innovative open-review process to assure maximum quality.
The articles we publish are accessible for free. We want to allow access to knowledge to every scholar.
Authors have to pay a processing charge when the article is accepted for publication to allow the journal to mantain its open-access policy.
